Herbert-Krause-Park
A serene escape in the heart of Neukölln
Did you know?
Herbert-Krause-Park is part of one of Berlin's largest housing estates, the High-Deck-Siedlung, home to about 6,000 residents.
Guided Story
Can you hear the gentle rustle of leaves above you? The wind creates a soft melody as you wander through Herbert-Krause-Park. Look to your left, and you'll see the lush lawns that come alive with picnic blankets and laughter in the summer. Did you know this park is more than just a place for relaxation? It's a storyteller of neighborhood and community from the High-Deck-Siedlung. Take a moment on one of the benches and watch the children playing or the locals enjoying the tranquility. In spring, the first flowers bloom here, and in autumn, the colorful foliage paints a magical backdrop. If you listen closely, you might even catch the distant sound of the Märchenbrunnen to the north.
