Erected in 1938, the memorial for those who fell during World War I from the State Forestry Administration honors comrades who lost their lives between 1914 and 1918. Created by artist Hans Gerwing, this 2.2-meter high marble memorial features the inscription 'UNSEREN/KAMERADEN/ 1914-1918.' The names of the fallen are engraved to preserve their memory.
