The Albertstadt industrial railway installations, opened on September 24, 1901, once spanned 15 kilometers of single-track lines in Dresden's industrial area. These rails, branching off at km 100.178 on the Görlitz–Dresden line, served up to 40 users in the late 1980s. Decommissioned on December 31, 2004, they now stand as a testament to Dresden's industrial past.
