You're standing in the Keppgrund, a striking gorge carved by the Keppbach stream, stretching from Hosterwitz to the Schönfelder Plateau. Look around and you'll see the valley's impressive depth, reaching up to 100 meters in some places. Just 26 meters to your northeast is the historic Keppmühle. This area is part of the 'Elbe Slopes Dresden-Pirna' protected landscape, preserving the natural beauty and diversity of the region.
