Once known as Maurice Rose Airfield, the Old Airfield in Frankfurt's Green Belt was used as an American military airfield until 1992. Spanning approximately 4.5 hectares, it is located between Frankfurt-Bonames and Frankfurt-Kalbach-Riedberg. Transformed into a natural and recreational area by the Green Belt Project Group and GTL landscape architects in 2003/04, it is now a popular spot for enjoying nature.
