Founded in 1619, the Haus zur Goldenen Waage was a remarkable half-timbered house in Frankfurt's old town. Situated at the corner of Höllgasse near the cathedral, it was renowned for its architectural significance. The site now includes the Stoltze Museum of the Frankfurter Sparkasse.
