You're standing at a unique spot: the Opernfactory Hamburg. Founded by Barbara Kaliner in November 2012, this isn't just any theater building. It's the only music theater in the Tonndorf district and indeed the whole eastern part of Hamburg. What sets it apart is its size, with just 130 seats, making it the smallest opera house in the city. Yet, it offers a rich program including opera, operetta, and musicals. Remarkably, it is entirely self-funded, highlighting its independence. As you look around, to the west, you'll find the Botanical Special Garden, a lovely place to stroll after a performance.
