Gethsemane-Kirche

Here you are in front of the Gethsemane Church, a modest yet elegant structure in Hanover's List district. It was designed in 1938 by Friedrich Fischer. Notice the understated architecture with its small tower, a design choice made for practical reasons. The white plastered facade and tiled roof give the church a simple yet inviting appearance. As you step inside, you'll find a wooden cross at the center of the space. The artistic windows, depicting scenes from the Gethsemane story, are particularly notable. They were donated by confirmands between 1953 and 1957, adding a special atmosphere to the interior.
