Paradies
A Natural Haven in the Heart of Jena
Did you know?
The park was created in the 1950s, yet parts of it are much older.
Guided Story
Can you hear the gentle rustling of leaves above you? This is Paradies in Jena, where you can truly let your mind wander. Look around, and you'll see not just the sprawling meadows and majestic trees, but also the Frog Queen Fountain about 115 meters southeast. It's inspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm. In spring, the blooming trees turn the park into a sea of colors, while in autumn, the leaves create a golden carpet. You might hear children laughing and playing or catch snippets of relaxed conversations from people soaking in the tranquility. Take a moment to pause and breathe in the fresh air—this place has a unique magic.
