The Druselturm, a 44-meter tall round tower, is a striking remnant of Kassel's former city fortifications. Founded in 1415, it stands at Druselplatz and remains one of the few medieval structures preserved in the city. The path of the old city wall is marked with colored pavement along Hedwigstraße.
