Panzerwiese und Hartelholz

Here, you're standing in one of Munich’s most significant nature reserves. Panzerwiese and Hartelholz were established on June 5, 2002 and offer a sanctuary for a wide array of plant and animal species. Around you, expansive meadows and dense forests stretch out, providing a haven for biodiversity. To the north, you’ll find Hartelholz, a striking example of urban nature thriving within the city. Just 419 meters to the west stands the Panzermauer, a monument that echoes the past. This area is perfect for exploring the diversity of nature and taking in the fresh air.
