Situated on the 307-meter-high Siegberg in Siegen, the Oberes Schloss has roots as a medieval hill castle. Initially shared by the Archbishops of Cologne and the Counts of Nassau, it later became fully Nassau-owned and served partly as a residence. It now houses the Siegerlandmuseum.
