You're standing in a protected natural sanctuary here in Tübingen. Since July 30, 1980, the Hirschauer Berg has been designated as a nature reserve. This decision was made by the Tübingen Regional Council to preserve the valuable flora and fauna. As you look around, you can feel the calming presence of nature thriving undisturbed for decades. If you glance southwest, you might catch a glimpse of the spire of St. Aegidius in the distance. The Hirschauer Berg not only offers you a retreat into nature but also a perspective on environmental conservation in this area.
