Guided Story

Imagine standing on the edge of a giant bowl. You're on the Barnim Plateau, and in front of you stretches the Berlin Urstromtal. Look to your right, and you'll see the gentle hills of Mahlsdorf rising to 57 meters on the horizon. To your left, on the Kaulsdorf side, the slope drops to 42 meters. Turn around, and you might spot the distant outline of the Alte Pfarrkirche Mahlsdorf. Legend has it that early settlers marked this spot as the boundary between farmland and pasture.
