The Paradiesbrücke features two closely spaced bridges over the Saale, south of Jena's city center. The northern bridge serves as a road bridge with sidewalks, while the southern bridge accommodates both tram and pedestrian traffic. The northern bridge links the center of Jena to the eastern districts and further to the autobahn A4.

Imagine standing on the northern bridge, officially known as the Paradiesbrücke. This bridge connects the city center with the eastern districts and spans the Saale River. It's a vital traffic route, as the Stadtrodaer Straße, partially a highway, runs over it. To your left, you can spot the southern bridge, designed for trams and pedestrians, just about 50 meters away. Look south, where the districts of Jena stretch towards the autobahn A4.
