Imagine standing here, surrounded by a piece of history that has watched over Aachen for centuries. Look up, and you'll see the Pfaffenturm rising to its impressive height of 8.65 meters. To your left, you can spot the distant Langer Turm, another sentinel of the old city walls. As you turn slowly to the south, the Oscar Heumann monument comes into view, marking the historic significance of this area. Did you know this tower is also called the Suylisturm? Legend has it that its walls whisper tales of the past at dusk. The magic is palpable, especially at sunset, when the old town glows warmly, and the tower's silhouette stands proudly against the evening sky.
