The finder only sees what you share – by default just a nickname and a chat button. Your real address, email, or phone number stay hidden until you actively share them.
The finder can send you an anonymous message. As soon as they contact you, you receive a notification (email and optionally push). You chat in the ID app and arrange the return.
You can print the QR code directly (PDF/PNG), print on sticker paper, or order professional itemID tags from our shop. The code stays the same – even if you update your profile.
itemID is a German company with servers in Germany. We are fully GDPR compliant. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
