Constructed between 1914 and 1917 by architect Fritz Landauer, the Augsburg Synagogue is a stunning example of Art Nouveau architecture and serves as a spiritual center for the Jewish Community of Augsburg-Schwaben. Despite the damage during Kristallnacht, it was fully restored by 1985 and now also houses the Jewish Museum Augsburg Swabia. Standing 13 meters tall, it is recognized as part of Bavaria's architectural heritage.
