Guided Story
Feel that tranquility? Right here, you're standing on ground that holds stories dating back to 1335. Look to your left, there's the Church of St. Ursula, just a few steps away. This convent was a sanctuary and a place of prayer for the Dominican nuns who called it home. Behind you, a bit further, you'll see the Vogelturm rising. Imagine the city of Augsburg growing and changing around this spot, with the nuns witnessing the passage of time. The secularization in the 19th century interrupted its history, but the convent was revived in 1828. These walls have witnessed so much, and if you listen closely, you might just hear the whispers of the past.
