The Erhard-Wunderlich-Sporthalle, a heritage-listed building in the Antonsviertel, was designed by Hugo Gall between 1963 and 1965. Situated on the southern edge of Wittelsbacher Park, it is operated by the city of Augsburg. Formerly known as Sporthalle Augsburg, it was renamed in 2012 to honor the renowned handball player Erhard Wunderlich.
