Lueginsland in Augsburg is a preserved fortress from the city's old fortifications on the northeastern edge of the city center. Originally built as a watchtower in 1430, it was expanded into a bastion in the mid-16th century. After 1866, part of the structure remained and has been renovated several times. The building is listed as an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria.
