Built in 1680, the Bad Homburg Castle once served as the residence of the Landgraves of Hesse-Homburg and later as a summer residence for Prussian kings and German emperors. Now a cultural heritage monument in Hesse, it houses the administration of the State Palaces and Gardens. Open to the public, it also hosts the Bad Homburg Castle Concerts.
