The Neues Schloss in Baden-Baden served as the residence of the Margraves of Baden from the late 15th to the end of the 17th century. Originally founded in 1370, the late medieval castle has undergone several renovations and expansions. Currently, the building is a protected heritage site owned by Kuwaiti investors.
