Here you are at the Theater am Michelsberg, located in the historic old town of Bamberg. This theater was once housed in the former monastery brewery of the Benedictines on Michelsberg. The connection to the brewing tradition is quite close here. Just northeast of you is the Franconian Brewery Museum, a short distance away. And over there, about 78 meters to the east, stands the Kloster Michelsberg. This location gives the theater a unique historical charm, nestled within the city's rich heritage.
