Schwiegelshohn was a medieval farmstead located in the Königsforst. In 1888, it was sold to a timber company and a year later transferred to the Prussian forest administration, which dissolved the estate and planted trees, making it part of the forest. Today, there are no visible remains as it has been completely integrated into the woodland.

Standing here in the heart of the Königsforst, you're on the site of what was once Schwiegelshohn, a medieval farmstead. In 1888, it was sold to a timber company, and just a year later, the Prussian forest administration took over, dissolving the estate. Now, it's hard to believe that any trace of it existed, as no remains are visible today. The forest has completely embraced what used to be here.
