Take a moment to read the inscription, which speaks of the Weddinger emergency workers who took on this task. Standing at 1.9 meters tall, it symbolizes renewal and community solidarity. Just 123 meters to the west lies Volkspark Humboldthain, a space that was also reshaped after the war's devastation. To the east, you'll find the Himmelfahrtskirche, another reminder of the area's rich history. This stele stands as a silent witness to a time of rebuilding and renewed courage.
