The 'Freie Scholle' settlement in Berlin-Tegel is a cultural monument built between 1899 and 1937. Founded in 1895 by Gustav Lilienthal, it is one of Berlin's oldest housing cooperatives. The expansion from 1925 to 1933, designed by Bruno Taut, is specially protected.
