Since 1987, Das Verborgene Museum in Berlin showcased works by European female artists born around the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. These women were pioneers in gaining access to public educational institutions and were featured in painting, photography, sculpture, and architecture. After its closure in January 2022, the collection is now housed in the Berlinische Galerie.
