You're standing at a site that once thrived as a hub of performing arts in Berlin. Founded on May 1st, 1981, Die Etage offered an exceptional blend of contemporary circus, dance, acting, and physical theatre. This interdisciplinary approach set it apart in the arts community of its time. As a state-recognized private institution, it trained talented artists for over four decades.
