Dorfkirche Giesensdorf

Standing here, you’re looking at one of Berlin's oldest village churches, the Village Church of Giesensdorf. The eastern section was crafted in the 13th century with carefully hewn stones. If you step a little closer, you’ll notice the western part was added in the 14th century with less precisely cut stones. Today, this church is a protected monument, having been restored between 1955 and 1956 after a devastating fire in 1943. Inside, you'll find an organ that is one of the noteworthy features of this Protestant church.
