Standing here, you're in front of the French Buchholz Church, a remarkable piece of history. Built in the 13th century, its fieldstone construction has weathered the ages. Notice its classic design: a hall church with a square choir and apse. It was remodeled in 1852, giving it a renewed presence. Unfortunately, World War II left its mark, destroying the organ, parts of the interior, the roof, and the tower.
