Designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 1996, the Kronprinzenbrücke connects the districts of Mitte and Tiergarten in Berlin’s government quarter. It carries Konrad-Adenauer-Straße with two lanes and offers paths for cyclists and pedestrians. To the west are the Spreebogenpark and the Bundestag's daycare center.
