Mettmannplatz in Berlin-Wedding is a welcoming green space of approximately 11,000 square meters, bordered by the tracks of the Nordring and the Berlin-Spandau Ship Canal. A railway bridge of the North-South mainline, known as the Überflieger, spans the area, adding a distinct feature to the park. It was named after the partner city Mettmann in 1986.
