Guided Story

Can you hear the gentle splash of water? It's as if Neptune himself is orchestrating a symphony of waves. Look at the mighty sea god up there, surrounded by four grand female figures. They represent the rivers Elbe, Rhine, Oder, and Vistula. But here's something you might not know: the fountain originally stood in Schlossplatz. It was relocated here in 1969 after the Berlin Palace was demolished. Now, it proudly stands between the Red Town Hall and St. Mary's Church. Imagine the history this place has witnessed as life around it constantly evolved. If you turn around now, you'll see the Luther Monument, which tells its own tale.
