This statue has quite the story. Originally set on the Lange Bridge, it was moved during World War II for safekeeping and finally found its home here in the Charlottenburg Palace courtyard in 1951. Turn around and take in the view of the splendid palace gardens—a perfect spot to reflect on the great decisions Frederick William made in his time.
