Located at Grunewaldstraße 55 in Steglitz, the Schwartzsche Villa is an architectural heritage monument built by Christian Heidecke in 1896. Initially inaugurated as the summer residence of banker Carl Schwartz, it has housed a public cultural institution since 1995. Under the leadership of Brigitte Hausmann since 2017, it is part of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf cultural department.
