Located in Berlin's Treptower Park, the Soviet War Memorial is a significant monument and military cemetery inaugurated on May 8, 1949. It was commissioned by the Soviet Military Administration to honor the Red Army soldiers who fell during World War II. Designed by architect Yakov Belopolsky, the site is the final resting place for over 7,000 soldiers who perished in the Battle of Berlin.
