Taborkirche (Ost 1)

You're standing before one of Berlin's oldest structures, the Taborkirche. Founded in 1201, this church is a remarkable example of Romanesque architecture. Notice the thick walls and small Romanesque windows that define its unique appearance. It's part of the Evangelical Church community of Berlin-Hohenschönhausen and the oldest building in the Alt-Hohenschönhausen district. As one of Berlin's smallest village churches, it provides an intimate atmosphere that transports you back in time.
