Standing here by the Spree River, you're at the Treskow Bridge, which connects Oberschöneweide and Niederschöneweide. Named after Sigismund von Treskow, who championed its construction in the early 20th century, the bridge you see was rebuilt in 1950 after its predecessor suffered war damage. Look across and you'll notice how it encapsulates Berlin's history in its structure. To the east, you can find the Industriesalon Schöneweide and the Reinbeckhallen, both reflecting Berlin’s industrial heritage. Behind you, just a bit north, is the Spreehöfe Cinema, known for its cultural events.
