Guided Story
Can you feel the crunch of the gravel beneath your feet? That's the sound of history unfolding here. Look up at the old water tower, standing since 1915, a guardian of this square. Imagine it once being the lifeline of the entire district's water supply. If you turn around, you might catch a glimpse of the Rykestraße Synagogue in the distance, another piece of Berlin's rich tapestry. In spring, when the trees bloom, the entire square bursts into a canvas of color. Take a seat on one of the benches and soak in the atmosphere. You might hear the gentle trickle of a nearby fountain whispering stories of days gone by.
