The Rieselfelder Windel nature reserve covers 102.34 hectares in southwestern Bielefeld. Established in 2014, it spans both sides of the Reiherbach and is managed by the Rieselfelder Windel Foundation. This area is preserved by a nonprofit conservation foundation dedicated to maintaining the former sewage fields.
