You find yourself at the cultural hub known as the Theaterwerkstatt Bethel. Situated in the Old Plumbing Workshop in the Gadderbaum district, this theater offers a unique artistic experience. Founded in 1983 by theater educator and artist Else Natalie Warns, it thrives as a vibrant center for performing arts. Since 1994, it has been under the direction of Matthias Gräßlin, a seasoned theater producer. The institution is supported by the v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel. Each year, between 800 and 1,000 participants from Bielefeld and its surroundings engage in various activities here.
