You're on the Westerberg, a 154-meter high peak in Bochum's Langendreer district. It's part of the northern Ardey Mountains, with a history dating back to 1792 on old maps. To your west, around 683 meters away, stands the monument of the old Urbanus coal mine, a reminder of the area's industrial past. Just south of you runs the A 448, a highway that connects you to more urban adventures. If you head east, about 935 meters away, you'll find the Pauluskirche, a church rich with stories of this vibrant region.
