Kloster Kreuzberg

Standing here, you can see the commanding towers of the Kreuzberg Church, built in 1627 by Archbishop Ferdinand of Cologne. It sits atop the 158-meter-high Kreuzberg, its towers visible far across Bonn. As you look around, notice the dense forest that envelops the north and west sides of the hill, offering a sense of tranquility. Just a little to the east, you'll find the Holy Staircase. The church once housed a monastery, welcoming various orders from 1637 to 1968. You can almost feel the centuries of history embedded within these walls, whispering stories of the past.
