Built in 1928 by architects Toni Kleefisch and Jacob Stumpf, the Metropol in Bonn is a notable example of Art Deco architecture. Its 864-seat auditorium was the last large Art Deco-style cinema in Germany, and it has been a protected monument since 1983.
