Probussäule

In front of you stands the Probussäule, erected in 1892 by Wilhelm Neumann-Torborg. This monument honors Emperor Marcus Aurelius Probus for his key contributions to German viticulture. As you look around, about 53 meters northeast, you'll find the Geschichtssäule of Bad Godesberg, another significant monument nearby. The column itself serves as a tribute to Probus's influence, particularly in the Bonn region. You might notice its proximity to the Redoute, about 102 meters southwest, adding to the cultural importance of this historic site.
