Guided Story
Have you ever wondered how artists mixed paints centuries ago? Right here, you can find out. Look around, you're surrounded by tools and techniques dating back to the 19th century. Behind you, near the entrance, there's an impressive collection of pigments derived from natural materials. These pigments were tested on handmade paper, which you can also see here. To your left, you'll find old brushes and paint mills that were essential back in the day. It's almost like watching the artists of old at work. And as you leave the building, take a glance at the Georgskapelle to the west, another piece of history that has stood the test of time.
