The Bergarena on Bottrop's Haniel spoil tip provides a unique setting for cultural events. Established in 1990, it sits on one of the highest spoil tips in the Ruhr area and is part of the Industrial Heritage Trail. From this vantage point, you can overlook the former Prosper-Haniel mine facilities and the northwestern Ruhr region.
