The Echobrücke in Braunschweig's Kennel area is notable for the clear and delayed echo created by its smooth concrete arches and the water surface below. Built in 1960 as part of the southern railway bridge, its original purpose was lost with the removal of the tracks. It is now being repurposed as a bicycle crossing.
