St. Aegidien, also known as Liebfrauenmünster St. Aegidien, is a towerless Gothic hall church and the main Catholic church in Braunschweig. Situated on the rising southern edge of the city center, it is part of the Aegidienfreiheit. Since 1945, it has served as the parish church of the Catholic Parish of St. Aegidien and is recognized as a heritage monument in Lower Saxony.
